
R’ Mordechai Berinstein
Mordechai Berinstein is a devoted member of our community, dedicated to Torah learning and communal growth. Born and raised in Lakewood, New Jersey, Mordechai pursued his yeshiva education at Yeshiva Gedolah of Passaic and the renowned Mir Yeshiva in Israel. He is married to Adina, a skilled mental health professional from Atlanta. Together, they are proud parents of three children and are deeply committed to building a strong sense of community, guided by the values of Torah and chesed.

R’ Shlomo Borenstein
Shloime hails from Minneapolis and spent his yeshiva years in Telshe Chicago. Growing up, he watched his parents and Rosh Yeshiva model making an impact on a community in a real way and are hoping to follow in they’re footsteps!

R’ Yehudah Levi
Yehuda Levi is a respected and valued member of our community. Born in Washington Heights, Yehuda’s Torah education took him to Breuers Yeshiva, Scranton, PA, and ultimately to the esteemed Rav Tzvi Kaplan Yeshiva in Jerusalem. He is married to Nechama, a dedicated Registered Nurse and aspiring Nurse Practitioner. Yehuda’s teaching and leadership bring depth and insight to our Kollel, and he is admired for his commitment to Torah and his family, which includes three adorable children.

R’ Yaakov Marchuck
Yaakov is the oldest of six who grew up in Lawrence, NY in a home steeped in chessed. He attended Yeshiva Darchei Torah for both elementary and high school, and then studied in Bais Medrash Toras Chesed, Mir Yerushalayim and Beth Medrash Govoha. He married Chaya Klein of Dallas, TX in 2018. The Klein family were founding members of the DATA Kollel and Rabbi Klein headed the Dallas Vaad for 30 years. In 2021, the Marchuck Family moved to Cincinnati to join the Kollel. They chose Cincinnati because of the especially tight knit community. Rabbi Marchuck is currently the Kollel’s Chavrusa coordinator, arranging the community learning at the Kollel, while Mrs. Marchuck is a member of the Cincinnati Hebrew Day School faculty.

R’ Shimon Pransky
Shimon Pransky is a born and bred out-of-towner growing up in Columbus, OH, and Atlanta, GA, before attending Ner Yisroel for yeshiva. Shimon brings creativity and fresh perspective to any subject.

R’ Tzvi Richter
Tzvi is a talented educator and a natural leader! His kollel career began as a member of the Breuer’s Kollel in NY before making the move to Cincinnati. In conjunction with CJX, Tzvi founded “The Gemara Guys” a program that enables college students to access the depths of high level Torah study. His wife Adeena is a RN and enjoys her role as school nurse in CHDS. You can find their three kids outside playing on the swings or flying kites.

R’ Dovid Rosskamm
Originally from Denver, CO, Dovid spent his earlier years studying in Yeshiva Ohr Simcha of Englewood NJ, Ner Yisroel in Baltimore, and Yeshiva Darchei Torah in Far Rockaway, New York. He then traveled to Israel to learn in Yeshivas Ner Moshe of the Givaat Shaul neighborhood in Jerusalem. Following his marriage in 2019 to Soshie Falik from Chicago they moved to Lakewood, NJ where he advanced his studies in Beth Medrash Govoha. He joined the Kollel in 2023 where he enjoys participating in the stimulating Torah environment created by the Kollel scholars and the cross-section of people who frequent the Kollel. Soshie transmits Torah values to the next generation in Ohr Torah’s Pre-Primary program.

R’ Yakov Saklad
Yakov Grew up in Providence RI, Attending Providence Hebrew Day School, followed by Mesivta Yesodei Yeshurun for High School, Ohr Hachaim for Beis Medrash, and the yeshiva of Rav Shalom Shechter. After marraige he and his wife spent time in Eretz Yisroel before joining the Cincinnati Kollel in October of 2023 as they were looking for a community where he and his could make an impact. Mrs. Baila Saklad went to Yeshiva Ketana of Passaic for elementary, Bais Yaakov of Passaic for High School, attended Ateres Bais Yaakov in Eretz Yisrael for seminary and is currently teaching middle school social studies in CHDS where she infuses Torah ideals and Hashkafa into the lessons that she teaches.

R’ Moshe Steiner
Moshe Steiner is a driven and creative leader with a passion for community building. Born in Israel and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Moshe studied at Torah Institute, Ner Israel High School, and Toras Moshe in Jerusalem. He successfully led a summer camp in Baltimore for five years, leveraging his natural leadership skills and creativity. Moshe is proudly married to Goldy Steiner, a talented educator and entrepreneur who has run her own daycare. Together, with their three beautiful children, they share a commitment to Jewish education, community service, and family values.
